About Council Meetings

Regular meetings of Council are held the first and third Monday of each month. If the Monday is a statutory holiday, the meeting will be held on the Tuesday. Visit our Council Meeting Calendar for exact dates. The summer schedule has been amended with the regular meetings of July 7, 2008 and August 5, 2008 being cancelled.

Council meetings take place at 7:00 p.m. at the Municipal Hall Council Chambers at 615 Main Street.

Correspondence to be placed on the agenda of a regular meeting of council is required to be submitted by noon of the Wednesday prior to the council meeting.

Delegations to appear before council, must complete a delegation form which outlines the reason to appear before council and attachment of supporting information. This delegation form must be submitted by noon of the Wednesday prior to the council meeting.

Information about Special meetings of Council will be posted on the Notice Board at the Municipal Hall 24 hours in advance of a special meeting taking place.

Information about Public Hearings and Open Houses will also be posted on this website as they are scheduled.
